The band was formed in August 94 and played a concert on Sept. 10 at the "Fête de l'Humanité", among a prestigious list of guitarists such as Larry Corryell (USA) and Birelli Lagrene (France). The success is here and the trio immediately participate to the "International Convention of Guitar" in Issoudun (Oct. 94). Numerous gigs follow among which an opening slot for Charlélie Couture.

[ Guitare en Trio, l'album ] The first album "Guitares en Trio" is released in March (Kesako Music 9502). In october, Marcel Dadi invite the guys to the Convention in Issoudun. Due to the success of the concert, the "Master" invite them to be part of a compilation which gathers many international guitar players. In November, they are on a TV show called "Latina", on MCM cable channel. They finish the year with a short tour in the region of Nice and Menton in December.

In February, they headline the first evening of the one week-long festival "Jazz in Berre", on the second night of which Louis Winsberg (guitar player of Sixun) is featured. In March, the trio opens for Marcel Dadi around Marseille (Salle de l'Odéon), then it is invited again on a TV show called "Sud" on Monte Carlo Television. In May, the musicians are featured at the "Comédia" in Aubagne, along Juan Cammona and Gérard Marais. This is followed by a new gig with Marcel Dadi in Avignon. Sadly, that will be the very last one as the guitar player dies in a plane accident one month later. In early July, they travel to Baltimore (USA) to be part of the "ProgScape 96" festival. In August, they headline the "Festival des Iles" on the Frioul islands (Marseille) and in October, they play at the "Théâtre Font Blanche" supporting the cuban singer Alma Rosa.

Many gigs are organized during the first three months of 97, with the financial help of the Conseil Général of the Bouche-du-Rhône region. The highlight of the summer is the concert in memory of Marcel Dadi on July 17 which gathered more than a thousand people. Two consecutive performances at Café Julien (Marseille) are recorded in November with the prospect of releasing a live album.

[ Pochette CD Live ] The second album "Live au Café Julien" is finally released on Kesako. To celebrate its released, Guitares en Trio perform a showcase on the terrasse of the Le Corbusier building. In addition, a new tribute is paid to Marcel Dadi on the new Prado Beaches, Escale Borely.
