Heavy schedule for Eclat ! To start ith, the band will play a concert at
Maison de Quartier du Roucas de Vitrolles, on friday 14 september at 8:30 pm
(Rue Roumanille, 13127 Vitrolles). Admission : 5 euros ! information : 33 442 75 18 42 and on www.vitrolles13.fr. Eclat will then start a mini-tour in Japan, in october !

Eclat will play once more during the Prog'Sud Festival, at Jas'Rod, Les Pennes-Mirabeau (near Marseille, France). The concert is on May 17 but the festival takes place from May 16 to 19. For this 8th edition, the invited bands are : Kotebel, Overhead, Oxygène 8, Opram, Rosco Il Est Content, Fantasmagoria, After Crying, Maldoror, Guillermo Cides, Rough&Ready, Quidam, Double face and... A busy autumn for Eclat ! Alain recalls : "First, there was the concert in Ville d'Avray, organized by the "Fantastiques Musiques" association, on September 23. Everything went well and we met Quidam, from Poland, and Sensitive To Light. Many thanks to Patrick gautier and his team ! Then, the band flew to Tokyo, Japan, for 2 concerts : the Poseidon Festival, at Rosa Live Inn (Oct. 7) and the gig with Baraka and Jakura, at Club 251 (Oct. 8). Two great evenings ! many thanks to Hiroshi Masuda, Tsuneko Arakawa, our friends from Baraka and everybody who was involved in these events ! A few pictures are availbale here. |

Here is the poster of the festival "La Nuit du Rock Progressif" to which Eclat will aprticipate, on September 23, at Théâtre du Colombier in Ville d'Avray (92), alongside Quidam (Poland) and Sensitive To Light (France). Information : www.fantastiques-musiques.com Moreover, Eclat wil make a second trip to Japan, joining the bill of the Poseidon festival, on October 7, and playing with Baraka, on October 8. Both concerts will take place in Tokyo. |

The rehearsals will start again at the end of February ! The objective is to prepare 3 new songs that will be added to the set-list of the forthcoming concerts at Prog'Sud. The new edition of the festival will take place from May 24 to May 27. The list of participating bands is available on the official website. If all goes well, Eclat will fly to the United States next October !

A new bass player for Eclat ! As Bruno dcided to call it quit after the Sarlat festival, his last concert should have been that at Prog'Sud Prog'Sud. However, unfortunately, Eclat could not play that night because the power was cut in the area. Taking the comittement to play at the Gong festival, in Reggio Emilia (Italy) very seriously, the band contacted Fred Schneider, a virtuoso bass player and one of the few able to "digest" Eclat's material within 3 or 4 rehearsals ! Alain comment: "He accepted right away and the results has by far exceeded our expectations ! The music of Eclat has never sounded like that before !" To have a better idea of Fred's work, you may visit his website at fredschneider.net. Fred decided to continue the adventure with Eclat ! A few images of the Festival Gong are available on this page. A mini-tour is planned for December, organized by Mylodon Records. Destination: Chile and Argentina !

For the third time, Eclat have been invited to participate to the Baja Prog in Mexicali (Mexico). This year, the festival will take place from March 30 to April 2. Caravan, Carl Palmer, Tryo, Banco, Taal, Ozric Tentacles and many more, will participate ! For more information, you can visit the official website: www.BajaProg.org Eclat have been contacted by the Gong Festival, in Italy, in June, and are thinking about accepting the invitation for a tour in South America (Chile, Argentina and Uruguay) next November !

Eclat have returned from their trip to Brazil. Alain wrote some of his impressions on the successful concerts the band gave during the two festivals Rio Art Rock and Macaé Prog Fest. A short review of Eclat's performance in Rio can also been found here, written in portuguese. |

Eclat are back for the Pro'résiste Convention that took place at Spirit of 66 in verviers (Belgium), on October 9 and 10. Alain gives us a brief account on the festival. Eclat will play at the Convention Prog'Résiste that will take place on October 9 and 10 at the famous Spirit of 66, in Verviers (Belgium). On October 9: Mindgames (Belgium), Amanda (Belgium), Paatos (Sweden) and The Watch (Italy) - on October 10: Eclat (3:00 pm), Liquid Scarlet (Sweden), Ken's Novel (Belgium) and Consorzioacquapotabile (Italy). There will be an important change in Eclat for this concert: Fabrice Di Mondo having decided to leave the band, Marco Fabbri, the drummer in Odessa (Italy), will replace him. The new edition of Prog'Sud took place at Pennes-Mirabeau (near Marseille) on May 20-22. It has been a success once again. Ashtar (Brazil), Adagio (France), Holy Graal (France), Akineton Retard (Chile), Odessa (Italy), Fragil (Peru), Cast (Mexico) and Nemo (France) were on the bill this year.
